The presentation-application was developed to broadcast multimedia presentations in a corporate network. To avoid having to install additional wiring, this application runs on a traditional Ethernet network. The installation itself consists of a number of "viewer" PC's and a master terminal (a standard PC). These platforms are equipped with XP Professional, allthough the operation systems functionality is reduced to its bare essence. On the viewe PC's, the presentations are displayed using the 2007 PowerPoint Viewer.
The master terminal runs a database application that allows various broadcasts to be planned in advance. The XP task scheduler on the master computer controls the various viewers during the requested start and stop times. You can chose to immediately start a presentation at one, or all, screens. When no presentations are planned, the viewers powers down into sleep mode, assuring that only a minimum of energy is used on the viewing points.
Two different presentations can betransmitted: one general (or group presentation) and an individual (an individual presentation for each viewer). The entire package can be offered and installed by CREACOM, with or without the (freely selectable) hardware.
